Reservations and Payment. Receipt of a 30% per person non-refundable deposit is required to hold reservations. The balance is due 45 days before departure. Certified checks or bank checks are required for all final payments and are to be mailed to:

Any person or entity, including a travel agent, with whom you deal other than Belle Viste dell’ Ossola in purchasing a tour acts as your agent in dealing with us. Accordingly, we disclaim liability for payments made to anyone until we receive such payment earmarked for your account and payment is credited to your account.

Prices. All prices are subject to increase due to any increase in our costs, such as, but not limited to: increase in land fares, fuel costs, currency fluctuations, unless our brochure indicates that a particular tour price is guaranteed by full payment before a specific date and all conditions of that guarantee are met. All taxes, fuel surcharges and any other taxes imposed by airports, governments, etc., are not included in our tour prices.

Baggage. Each tour member is responsible for their own baggage when claiming it at any arrivals terminal.

Single Rooms. A limited number of single rooms are available at the supplemental rate shown for each tour.

Cancellation Penalties. Cancellation penalties will be waived if you are required to cancel your trip due to the following conditions: death or dismemberment of your traveling companion or an immediate family member. An ailment that requires hospitalization of yourself or your traveling companion. All claims are subject to verification. Cancellation and refund requests must be sent to us in writing and are subject to the following cancellation charges which are based on the price and number we receive your notification at Belle Viste Tours, PO Box 367, Piermont, NY 10968.

44 – 31 days prior to departure - 30% of tour cost
30 – 5 days prior to departure 60% of tour cost
4 – 2 days prior to departure – 90% of tour cost
1 day prior to departure - 100% of tour cost

Waived Fees. For specific reasons please refer to "Cancellation Penalties."

Responsibility. Belle Viste Tours, Inc. its and their employees, shareholders, subsidiaries, affiliate, officers, directors, and assigns (collectively “Belle Viste Tours"), does not own, or operate any entity which is to, or does provide goods or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities, airline, vessel, motor coach, or other transportation companies, guides or guide service, local ground operators, or organizers of optional excursions, food service providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result Belle Viste Tours is not liable for any willful act or failure to act of any third party.

If, after tour departure, the services included in the tour cannot be supplied, or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of thCompany, the Company will arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be payable by travelers and any resulting saving will be refunded by the Company to tour participants.

The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever the Company deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour participants, and to cancel a tour at any time.

The tour participant agrees that neither the Company nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss) or expenseoccasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing tour services, or any insurer or insurance administrator under theTravel Protection Plan, or of any other person.

Legal proceedings against the Company may be instituted only in a state or federal court within the State of New Jersey, and any claim involved in such the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any legal proceedings against the Company must be commenced within one year following the date of tour completion. Neither the Company nor any affiliate shall in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages.

No person, other than an authorized representative of the Company, by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this statement, whether it appears in our brochure or on our web site, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.

Revision fees. A fee of $30 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. Airline penalties may also apply. A change of traveler name, tour date or tour itinerary within 45 days of commencement of services will be treated as a cancellation and new reservation; standard cancellation fees apply.

Participation: For the benefit of everyone on your vacation, Belle Viste Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, and to remove from the tour any participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants.

Travelers who need special assistance: You must report any disability requiring special attention to Belle Viste Tours at the time the reservation is made.  Belle Viste Tours will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so, nor is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Most transportation services are not equipped with wheelchair ramps and motor coaches in Italy are not equipped with restroom facilities,however, rest stops will be available during trips lasting more than one hour. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour participant for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance.

Young Travelers: Travelers who are less than 18 years old on the tour departure date must be accompanied by an adult; they receive a 10% discount on the land tour price. We do not accept children who are under twelve years of age. For any special requirements regarding airline tickets for children, contact your airlines directly.

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed on transportation that is exclusively provided by Belle Viste Tours.

Price Guarantee: All tour prices are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of printing and are expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure. The current price will be confirmed at the time of reservation.  However, once Belle Viste Tours has received your deposit for any tour, that land price is guaranteed, and any subsequent land cost increases are at our expense, not including surcharges and any government tax increases. Airfares included as part of air-inclusive tour prices are guaranteed when we receive full payment. Tour prices are per person, based on double occupancy.

Accommodations: The accommodations listed in this brochure are intended to be used on all departures; however, if a change becomes necessary for any reason, the substituted accommodations will be equivalent in standard to those shown.

Please note that accommodation check-in times vary worldwide.

Not included in the tour price: Air fare. Federal Inspection Fees for the U.S. Customs and Immigration;International Air Transportation Tax; agricultural tax; any other taxes; security fee; airport taxes and fees; passports; visas and vaccinations; tips to your tour director, tour driver, local city guides; gratuities on ferries, trains; laundry; telephone; mini bar; alcohol, beverages and food not on the regular table d’hôte menu (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); optional excursions; porterage at airports; travel insurance protection; excess baggage fees; all other items of a personal nature.

Refunds: Please note that any request for refunds is subject to the terms and conditions of the brochure; no refund can be made for unused services of less than 48 consecutive hours, for unused transportation where group activity tickets are involved, or for voluntary modifications made by the tour participant.

Service inquiries after the tour: If after returning from the tour, you wish to inquire about any tour services provided, please ensure that all correspondence relating to those services is received by Belle Viste Tours within 60 days of the tour completion date.  This will enable Belle Viste Tours to make a timely investigation.

Holidays: During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited or not available.  Alternatives will be offered when ever possible.

Safety: Please be aware that during your participation in tours operated by Belle Viste Tours, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, motor coach, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Belle Viste Tours will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered.  It is understood that Belle Viste Tours will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken.
